I have been committed to animal charities and rescues for more than 25 years. They are my life-long passion and their needs seem without end. I was eager to find a solution to the ongoing struggle to raise the funds necessary to support both the local and national efforts that do so much for animal-related causes.
After what seemed like the one-millionth fund-raiser, it finally hit me…Most of us who have an animal as a pet tend to love animals in general and we could, collectively, help in a very meaningful way with just a little extra effort.
Thus, pawscause was born.
To give credit where it is due, I’m really just borrowing the idea from Paul Newman and his company, Newman’s Own. Thank you, Mr. Newman, for a great idea.
Pawscause is a new operation and it must learn to walk before it runs. I hope that after launching on the web, I can build it out into a chain of stores – one store at a time.
This is a hope, a dream and an experiment whose success depends on people with animals caring about the greater animal population and being willing to help. They desperately need your help, and we will need your help if we are to be successful.
Everyone at pawscause will work as diligently as we can to make this a success and to be worthy of your trust and support.
Thank you
